We always provide our customers with a choice of off-site
independant seamstresses for your convenience.
Seamstresses schedule their own appointments and will
work directly with you. Bridal store staff does not quote alteration prices. We are not responsible for the independent
seamstresses policies and pricing.
In store fitting appointments are Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with
an in-store seamstress available for your convenience.
Remember to bring the proper items with you (bra/slip/shoes) to
your appointment or you may need to reschedule when you can have your items.
Quotes are provided to
you at the time of your first pinning and upon your approving and providing a signature to begin the work, the seamstress
will arrange a second appointment for you and then she will complete your item. Payment is expected at the final
fitting, preferred in cash and payable directly to the seamstress.
Cell phones MUST be turned off during your alteration's appointment
as a courtesy to give the seamstress the attention needed during your visit.
Alteration appointments last approximately 30 minutes for bridemaids,
flowergirls and mothers. Allow 30-45 minutes for bridal gowns. Please arrive on time and if unable to make
your appointment after 15 minutes of it's scheduled time, please reschedule so as not to affect other customers whose
appointment may be following yours. If a party is coming in together, please request a block of time
for the group.
Appointments
are recommended at least 2 to 4 weeks before the wedding -or- if you are on a tight timeline, as soon as the dress arrives
to ensure your garment is ready in time.
Children and strollers
Our facility can not accommodate strollers and in order to keep to your appointment time line, we ask that your children
not be brought during alterations appointments as we do not provide staff to supervise children.
